𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂. 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂, 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 10, 2025: Shri Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Armed Police, Jammu & Kashmir, today presented medals and commendations to the winners of the Inter-Battalion Sports Competition at the Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, Jammu. The ceremony marked the successful culmination of the tournament, celebrating the exceptional performances of athletes from various Armed and IRP units across the Union Territory. 2. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased exemplary talent, discipline, and teamwork across a wide range of sporting events, including athletics, football, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, tug-of-war, and other competitions. The event not only highlighted sporting excellence but also underscored the high standards of physical fitness and preparedness maintained by the Jammu & Kashmir Police. 3. Commending the participants for their dedication and sportsmanship, the ADG, Armed Police ,emphasized that physical endurance, mental resilience, and team spirit are vital qualities for police personnel entrusted with maintaining peace, order, and the security of the nation. He also appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for conducting the tournament in a highly professional, disciplined, and well-coordinated manner. 4. The annual competition served as a valuable platform for fostering camaraderie, promoting healthy competition, and enhancing the overall well-being of the force. It also contributed significantly to stress relief, personality development, and team building among personnel.
