Home » उधमपुर » DC Udhampur reviews Action plan for 100 day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan UDHAMPUR, APRIL 10: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting with officers of the line departments to review the action plan for the 100 day campaign under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Prem Singh and other senior district officers from the concerned departments. Reviewing the preparations of stakeholder departments, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to maintain close coordination for successful implementation of activities during the campaign. “Inter-departmental coordination and effective execution of activities are vital for achieving the objectives,” he noted and added “The awareness activities and programmes planned for the campaign aim at sensitizing the public and reinforcing collective efforts towards building a drug-free society.” Stressing the need for extensive grassroots-level outreach, the DC instructed stakeholder departments to activate field staff to mobilise community participation, which is crucial for eradication of the growing menace. He also stressed on promoting awareness about the government welfare schemes.
